  • Documents required for Branch Office (or Liaison Office) Setup in Korea
    Step I

    • 1. A Notification Form for Branch Office (or Liaison Office) establishment in Korea
      (Bank → Ministry of Finance and Economy )
    • 2. Documents verifying the Business Operation of the Headquarter - should be notarized
      (e.g. Certificate of Incorporation registraion)
    • 3. Minutes of Board of Directors' Meeting of Headquarter (Foreign Corporation) - should be notarized
      - resolution on the Branch Office (or Liaison Office) establishment in Korea
      - address of the Branch Office (or Liaison Office)
      - resolution on the appointment of the Representative for Branch Office (or Liaison Office)
      - name, address and identification number (with birth date/month/year) of the Representative
        for Branch Office (or Liaison Office)
    • 4. Power of Atterney for the Branch Office (or Liaison Office) establishment in Korea
    • 5. A Copy of Passport of the Representative in Headquarter
    • 6. A Copy of Passport of the Representative of Branch Office (or Liaison Office) in Korea
     
    * All documents should be translated into Korean if the documents are in foreign languages.
    * All documents which certify on the existance of the Headquarter, which certify the qualification on the Representative in
       Korea and identify the characteristic of the Corporation, or verifying the Article of Incorporation, all should be notarized
       by home country government authority or home country empabby in Korea.
